Our Beliefs
Our Church Services are to be done decently and in order. Our gatherings for worship are for edification. Edification involves helping one another along the road to Christlikeness, and it requires the participation of all members of the church. Teaching and preaching improve our understanding of God; encouragement promotes conduct that develops Christlike character. When we exhort one another and hold one another accountable, we are prompted to engage in activities that promote godliness. Accountability means we lovingly check each other’s spiritual progress. Christlike service ensures that the needs of the church are met, and true fellowship is the interaction we have with each other on a deeper spiritual level. The corporate nature of edification cannot be overemphasized. We believe that disorder is the enemy of edification.

God
We believe that there is but one living and true God everlasting, without body or parts, of infinite power, wisdom, and goodness: the maker and preserver of all things, both visible and invisible. And in the unity of this Godhead, there are three persons of one substance, power, and eternity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God the Father is the creator of the universe who loves the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son. God is a supernatural being who has always existed. God is the ruler of all creation who also hears and answers prayer. God is perfect in holiness wisdom, power, and love.
Genesis 1:1, Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 3:22, Psalm 90:2
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God while at the same time equal to God. We believe that God loves the world so much that He gave the world His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a sinless human life and was crucified as a perfect sacrifice in exchange for the sins of all of mankind by dying on a cross. He overcame death by rising three days later demonstrating his power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven, and we await his return back to earth.

Holy Spirit
We believe that The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and is equal with God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son. The Holy Spirit lives in every believer from the moment of salvation and provides the believer with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, guidance in doing what is right, spiritual fruit, and spiritual gifts.

Galatians 5:22-25, Romans 12:6-8, Ephesians 1:13, Ephesians 5:18
The Trinity
We believe that God exists as one being in three persons: God the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Although each member of the trinity serves different functions of the trinity, they each possess equal power and authority.

Humanity
Humankind was made in the image of God and determined from our creation. We were created to be in a perfect relationship with God, however, sin has alienated us from this relationship. We are incapable of regaining the right relationship with God through our efforts or works. For this reason, God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins so we may be reconciled back to our Father God.

The Bible
We believe that The Bible is the infallible word of God for all mankind. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the ultimate source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.
2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 1:13, Psalm 119:105, Psalm 119:160, Psalm 12:6, Proverbs 30:5
Eternity
We believe that all mankind will exist forever. We will exist externally with God in Heaven because we have received forgiveness of sins through salvation. Or we will exist eternally in hell separated from God because we have not accepted salvation.
John 3:16, 1 John 2:25, John 5:11-13, Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:15
Salvation
We believe that all of God’s children are created in the image of God, to live in a personal relationship with God. Sin has broken our relationship with God. We are not perfect people; we make mistakes regularly through sin. And the consequence of sin is death. The good news is that God loves the world so much that He gave us His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who walked this earth without sin. He was crucified to rescue us from our sins and the consequence of sin to restore our broken relationship with God because of sin. Salvation is given to us freely through God’s grace. Salvation cannot be received by works. One must repent of their sin, believe in their heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God sent to save the world through his death, burial, and resurrection, and confess with their mouth this belief from their heart. We believe that once someone is saved, they cannot lose their salvation.
Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 1:12, John 14:16, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26, Romans 5:1, Romans 10:9-13
Baptism
We believe that baptism is an outward expression of an inward commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We believe that baptism is a public declaration that you have received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Baptism does not save you, for we are not saved by works, however, it does show that you have been saved. Although baptism does not save you, we believe that every believer should get baptized. We believe that no one under the age of 8 should get baptized. One has to have a clear understanding of what it means to be saved before being baptized.
Colossians 2:12, Acts 2:41, Ephesians 2: 8-9, Ephesians 4:4-6, Matthew 28:19-20, Luke 3:16 Romans 6:3-4, 1st Peter 3:21, 1st Corinthians 13:11
The Gifts of the Holy Spirit
We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are still available to all believers. However, not all believers have all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives the gifts to each one individually as he chooses. We believe in a gathering of believers that the gifts of the Holy Spirit should be done decently and in order according to scripture.

The Gift of Healing
The wondrous gift to use God's healing power for a person who is ill, wounded, or suffering. At our church, we believe that God through His Holy Spirit is the one who heals. We believe that prayer to God is enough for someone to receive the healing that they need according to God’s will.

The Gift of Miracles
The gift to display signs and miracles that give credibility to God's Word and the Gospel message.

Apostles
We believe that there are no living Apostles today.
Mark 3:14, Acts 1:21-26
Communion
The Lord’s Supper is an ordinance given to all believers by Jesus Christ to remember his sacrifice for us and to symbolize the new covenant. The elements of bread and wine or juice are symbols of Christ’s broken body and shed blood. Communion is not a means of salvation. Rather, it is a testament to a believer’s faith in the atoning work of the cross. We observe Communion on the First Sunday of every Month and other special occasions as appropriate.
Matthew 26:26-30; Mark 14:22-26; Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29
Marriage
Is instituted by God, and is a faithful, exclusive, monogamous, lifelong union of a man and a woman joined in an intimate community of life and love. They commit themselves completely to each other.
Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4, Proverbs 18:22, Matthew 19:4-6
